Ode to my grandparents

Ever since I started this coaching and training work almost a year ago, my grandparents have been turning up quite often. To be clear, I actually never had a strong relationship with my grandparents. They either passed away before I was born, or met them late in their life, or I was too young to seek true connection.

And thanks to a series of events, they have kept coming into my awareness and I feel connected to them more than I ever had before. They show up when I get into an ego-trip, in which I doubt my creativity or resourcefulness. They remind me that I’m not alone and comfort me in songs, visions and the stories my parents tell me 💗

This is a post of gratitude to them for being there for me in the last year. And also, to encourage you to explore where you come from in the upcoming holidays.

✨What are/were your grandparents like?
✨What can you learn from their stories of resilience and love?
✨What gifts do they have that you can also find in yourself?
✨How could you honour those gifts today?

May re-connecting to your grandparents in this way nurture your roots and support you during these holidays and beyond.
Lots of love,

Raque Ale
