Intentions from the heart
At the beginning of each week, I set up an intention of how I wish to feel and be in the world for that week. I ask myself: What do I care about? What do I wish to cultivate?
An intention it’s an attitude and way of being to which you wish to commit. Sure, life may throw you out of balance often. That’s just natural and human. And with an intention, we are creating an anchor to go back to.
To me an intention is extra powerful when it is also embodied and comes directly from our hearts ♥️
Do you want to try it out?
Place a hand in the middle of your chest.
First notice your breath going in and out of your chest.
Notice the energy and sensations around your heart.
And ask your heart: What do I care about?
What do I wish to cultivate?
Allow an answer to arise. The first word that comes up is perfect.
Let the meaning of the word expand through your chest, through your body.
Imagine how you would feel, move and speak if you'd lived more from this intention.
For me, this time the word that came up was ‘Ease’. What was it for you?
